Skyview Auto Glass CRM: built by a glass shop, for glass shops
Skyview Auto Glass runs its whole operation — leads, quotes, scheduling, technicians, parts, texting and reporting for 191 city shops across three states — on an operations system we built for ourselves. It is the system described on our technology page, and it runs at crm.skyviewautoglass.com for our team.
What it runs
- Leads and conversion: every inquiry from first call to booked job, with follow-ups that are due before a lead goes cold.
- Jobs: intake to completion, with the appointment, vehicle, part, price and technician on one record.
- Schedule and dispatch: one column per technician, the day in driving order, with a per-technician job cap and travel buffers.
- VIN decode and part suggestion: a VIN fills the vehicle and suggests the glass part number.
- Shop pricing rules: one rule per service per shop, so every quote comes from the same place.
- Parts: every piece of glass from order to warehouse to installed, with returns and credits.
- Customer texting: two-way SMS kept on the job, with reusable templates.
- Reports: revenue, margin, conversion and completion by shop.
- Roles and permissions: admin, manager, dispatcher and technician, enforced in the database.
- Locations: every job matched to the city location it belongs to.
- Website lead intake: an API key per website so quote forms land straight in the pipeline.
- Data exports: leads, customers, jobs and technicians as CSV at any time.
Why we built it
A glass company that runs shops and mobile service across several states has needs that general-purpose tools do not cover: pricing that differs by state, glass that has to be matched by VIN, technicians who spend the day driving, parts that move between warehouse and truck, and a warranty that follows the vehicle for life. We built the system around those needs and run our own business on it every day.
Who it is for
Single-location shops, mobile-only operators and multi-shop groups. Pricing, technicians and users are kept per shop; dashboards and reports roll up across all of them.

Skyview Auto Glass customers do not need any of this — to book glass service, call (248) 325-5559 or book online.
CRM questions
Is Skyview Auto Glass CRM the same system Skyview Auto Glass uses?
Yes. Skyview Auto Glass runs its own shops, mobile technicians and three state price lists on it every day at crm.skyviewautoglass.com.
Does it work for a mobile-only auto glass business?
Yes. Scheduling is built around technician driving days, with a job cap and travel buffers per technician, and jobs carry the customer's address, so it works for mobile-only, shop-only or both.
Can it take leads from my website?
Yes. Each website gets its own API key, and quote-form submissions become leads in the pipeline with the vehicle decoded from the VIN.
