COMPANY REGISTRATION
Skyview Auto Glass is a Registered Member Company of the Auto Glass Safety Council (AGSC). AGSC publishes the ANSI/AGSC/AGRSS Standard, the auto glass replacement safety standard used in the trade, and maintains a public list of its Registered Member Companies.
Windshield repair certification
The National Windshield Repair Division (NWRD) certification covers windshield repair — the resin-injection process that bonds rock chips and small cracks in the laminated glass so they do not spread. NWRD-certified technicians are trained in the repair methods and quality standards for fixing damaged windshield glass rather than replacing it.
Automotive service certification
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification is a nationally recognized general automotive service credential. ASE-certified technicians have demonstrated knowledge of automotive service and repair, including the vehicle systems and components that surround the glass they work with during a windshield or auto glass replacement.
Windshield replacement certification
DINITROL Glass Replacement certification covers the windshield replacement process — specifically the use of DINITROL automotive glass adhesives and the installation procedures for bonding a new windshield to the vehicle body so the glass retains its structural role and the adhesive cures correctly.
