Classic & Vintage Car Windshield Replacement
We work on a lot of classic and vintage cars and trucks — windshields, back glass and door glass.
Gasket-set vs bonded glass
Many older vehicles hold the windshield and back glass in a rubber gasket instead of urethane adhesive. When we replace gasket-set glass we fit a new gasket so it seals. Later classics are urethane-bonded like modern cars.
Trim and paint handled with care
Chrome and stainless reveal moldings are removed and refitted carefully, and the paint around the opening is protected.
Finding the right glass
We source the correct glass for your year, make and model — including tinted or shaded glass where the original had it — and tell you availability before ordering.
If we find rust
Older pinch welds often hide rust. If removing the glass reveals rust, we photograph it and show you before installing. Rust repair is quoted or referred separately.
