Dodge Durango Windshield Replacement

Matching the Right Glass by VIN

The right windshield for a Dodge Durango depends on its model year and trim. Features can include a forward-facing camera behind the glass for driver-assist systems, a rain sensor, a heated wiper area, acoustic laminated glass, or a heads-up display. Because those features require specific glass, Skyview matches the part to your Dodge Durango by VIN. Giving us your VIN when you book helps us bring the correct glass in one visit.

Durango Windshield, Matched by VIN

The Durango is a SUV, and its windshield varies by model year and trim. The glass can carry a forward camera, a rain sensor, a heated wiper area, or an acoustic interlayer, and each combination calls for a specific part. We match the replacement to your Durango by VIN so the new glass carries the same features as the original.

What varies by year and trim. Durango windshields differ by model year and trim. Depending on how the vehicle is equipped, the glass may carry a forward-facing camera for driver-assist systems, a rain sensor, a heated wiper park area, or an acoustic laminated interlayer. Each of those features calls for a specific glass part, which is why we identify the exact part from the VIN rather than ordering on the model name alone.

The Dodge's forward collision warning and lane-keep features camera. When your Durango is equipped with Dodge's forward collision warning and lane-keep features, the forward-facing camera mounted behind the windshield must be recalibrated after the glass is replaced, so the driver-assist features keep working as designed. We confirm whether your specific Durango requires it and perform the calibration to the manufacturer procedure.

Every one of those distinctions comes off the VIN in seconds. None of them can be read off the outside of the vehicle. If you want the full explanation of how these part numbers work, see our guide to auto glass part numbers, and for what each feature does, see our windshield features guide.

ADAS Camera Calibration After Replacement

A Dodge Durango equipped with a windshield-mounted camera needs that camera recalibrated after the glass is replaced. Skyview performs ADAS calibration to the documented manufacturer procedure, restoring your driver-assist systems to proper alignment before the vehicle is returned. See our ADAS calibration service for more.

Chip Repair, Side & Back Glass

When the damage to your Dodge Durango windshield is a small chip, a repair is often possible instead of a full replacement — preserving the factory seal and the original glass. We also replace side and back glass on the Dodge Durango (door, vent, and quarter glass and the rear windshield), with the same lifetime workmanship warranty on every job. See chip repair, side window replacement, and back glass replacement.

Insurance & Filing Your Claim

Skyview accepts every insurer and files your Dodge Durango glass claim at no charge. Whether you need a chip repair or a complete windshield replacement, we handle the claim filing with your insurance company. A lot of comprehensive (glass) policyholders pay little or nothing — what you pay depends on your policy and deductible, and we check it with you before any work begins. See our insurance claims hub for carrier-specific details.
