What decides same-day
The glass has to match your VIN — the acoustic layer, rain sensor, heated wiper park, heads-up display and camera bracket your vehicle was built with. Once the part is confirmed and you agree to the quote, the glass is pulled for your job and the technician is scheduled. Shop visits are call-ahead, so the glass is ready when you arrive.
What to have ready when you call
Your VIN (on the dash at the base of the windshield, or on your insurance card), which glass is damaged, whether there is a camera behind the windshield, and your insurer if you plan to claim. That is enough to quote the exact part and the exact work.
What happens on the day
You get a confirmation text with an estimated arrival time. Once the glass is on the truck, a customer service representative calls with the exact ETA and sends a text update, and leaves a voicemail if you do not answer. Arrival windows are usually about three hours.
